5 Guilt-free Chocolate Smoothie Recipes

Make a sweet treat for your sweetie!

They’re a Valentine’s Day tradition, those little heart-shaped boxes. But what do those chocolates really say? “I forgot about Valentine’s Day until last night when I was in Walgreens.” or “I know you’re trying to do the healthy New Year’s resolution thing, but go ahead and hop off the wagon.”

How about some chocolate for your Valentine that has an element of ‘homemade’ to it (hello, brownie points— no pun intended), something that is tasty AND healthy?

Yes, please! I like to play with our Fat Flush Chocolate Whey Protein, trying it with different fruit combos, and we have definitely developed some faves! These recipes taste like a naughty treat, without actually being naughty— thanks to the level of pureness and quality of our whey protein powders.

    How can I turn my vanilla whey protein into chocolate? For the recipes above, how much cocoa powder and sweetener? stevia or what?

      Hi Sarah! We use- and recommend using- our chocolate Fat Flush Whey Protein. That way the safest, purest cocoa powder and natural sweeteners are included in good proportions. (I’m not sure how much to add if you’re making your own chocolate whey…probably would take some experimenting and taste testing.)
