These ten weight loss secrets can make a world of difference.
1. Keep your liver in tip-top shape
One of the best-kept secrets to weight loss and lasting weight control is keeping the liver healthy. The liver is the key organ for fat control and it performs nearly 500 other tasks in the human body. It is the main organ for detoxifying pollutants, hormones, and chemicals. It’s the primary organ for metabolism, which governs life-sustaining chemical transformations within our cells. The liver metabolizes not only fats but also carbohydrates and proteins.
Each day, the liver produces about a quart of bile which is stored in the gallbladder. Bile emulsifies and absorbs fats in the small intestine while it carries toxins out of the body.
